Samuel McDonald was born Feb. 14, 1960 to the late Fannie and Haywood McDonald in Silas. He entered into eternal rest Aug. 29, 2023, at his home. Samuel joined the White Chapel Baptist Church at an early age. Sammie, as he was affectionately known, was a quiet person who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed watching westerns, loved to cook and was known for cooking lima beans for everyone during football season.
