James Kenneth Baxter, 79, of Tibbie, passed away at his home on Jan. 22, 2024. Mr. Baxter was a humble man of God. He loved being a member and singing in the choir at the Fairhope Baptist Church, where he was also on the Cemetery Committee. He was also the song leader at Center Ridge Baptist Church in his younger years. His favorite hymn was, “From the Cross to the Crown.” A true family man, he loved attending every family gathering. He enjoyed spending the lot of his time with his grand and great-grandchildren. They all fondly called him “Pappy.”...
