MOUNT VERNON — Father John Patrick Coghlan, a pillar of the community known for his unwavering dedication and compassionate spirit, recently marked 50 years of priesthood. The hall of Mount Vernon’s St. Theresa Catholic Church overflowed on Sunday with about 375 people who gathered to commemorate Coghlan’s five decades of service.
