As the renovations of the Clarke County facilities continue, members of the county commission have approved change orders that are expected to make the facility more energy-efficient. During their regular meeting Aug. 27, members of the Clarke County Commission approved a change order in the amount of 3,892 from contractor ABM Building Solutions, LLC, to remove the county jail’s current boiler water system and replace it with more modern in-line, on demand, tankless heaters.
