Frances Ruth Bumpers, 91, of Jackson, passed away on Aug. 6, 2024, peacefully at her home. She was born in St. Stephens on April 11, 1933, to parents Ed Stoker and Hattie Bell Stoker. Frances was a member of First Assembly of God in Jackson. Before marrying her husband, James Bumpers, she worked at Vanity Fair. Frances loved her flowers and gardening.
