Inez Levern Dean King, a long-time resident of Jackson, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 26, 2022, surrounded by her family at her home. She was born on April 27, 1929 to Ethel Glivens Dinkins Dean and Vernon Robert Dean in the Vernal Chapel community of Jackson. Early in life, she was a member of the Vernal Chapel Baptist Church, later she united with St. Union Baptist Church, and then uniting with her family at Jackson Street Baptist Church in Jackson.
