Norman Sashington, a native of the Frankville community and a resident of the Bladon Springs community, better known to family and friends as "N.L.," made his earthly transition on July 1, 2022 while at Rush Hospital in Meridian, Miss. Norman was born Sept. 10, 1957 to Mattie Dixon Sashington and Mallie Malachi Sashington. Earlier in life he joined the Mt. Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Frankville, later moving his membership to Goodwill Baptist Church in Bladon Springs. Norman was united in Holy Matrimony to Carolyn May Sashington for 40 years.
