Adell Maye Adams, a resident of McIntosh, departed this earthly life to be with her Heavenly Father Tuesday, July 12, 2022, while at Mobile Infirmary surrounded by her loving family. Adell was born Dec. 5, 1932 to the union of Catherine Taylor Maye and Johnnie Maye. She confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior and was a faithful member of Lang's African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, where she served as a deaconess and dedicated choir member before her health began to fail.
