I see that First US Bank has offered its closed downtown office to the city for ,000. This is the old Jackson Bank & Trust building that dates to the early 1900s. It is a historic structure. A stately and traditional building, it looks like bank buildings should. I don’t know if the city has a need for it but it would make a great cultural arts center or museum.
