Masons have started bricking up the new Jackson Middle School gymnasium that is under construction on the rear of the JMS campus, near the intersection of North Kimball Avenue and West Rose Street. The new .7 million gym will replace one that dates to the 1930s/40s. It will be named for longtime Jackson High School basketball coach Ned Harbuck.
