Mrs. Ruby Brown Wimberley, 97, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2022, at Washington County Nursing Home. Mrs. Wimberley was from Jackson, where she worked for many years as a cashier and bookkeeper in local businesses. She was a long-time member of Forest Avenue Baptist Church, which she and her late husband, Elmore Brown, joined when services were held in a tent. She enjoyed music, especially Floyd Cramer piano tunes, flower arranging, and bingo.
