Mr. Melvin King Sr., age 75, a native and resident of Jackson, was born March 26, 1947 to the parentage of the late Mr. Floyd King Sr. and the late Mrs. Ora Lee James King. He departed this life Aug. 22, 2022 at Jackson Medical Center in Jackson. Mr. King was a member of Jackson AOH Church in Jackson. He was educated in the Clarke County School System and graduated from Harper High School. He retired from Vanity Fair after more than 20 years as a mechanic supervisor. He will be remembered as a homebody who truly loved his family....
