Last month when I wrote about our ‘broken’ recycling system, I also encouraged everyone to resolve to refuse single-use plastic bags and plastic water bottles. Why? Because plastic is having a continued negative impact on our environment and is affecting our land, water and air in ways that are a danger to every living thing, including us.
