Mules basketball lost to No. 5 Northwest Missouri State 89-49 on Saturday, Jan. 30, at Bearcat Arena in Maryville.  UCM led 2-0 until the Bearcats hit their first basket of the game two minutes and 45 seconds later.  The Mules (9-9, 6-8 MIAA) never saw the lead again and found themselves trailing 39-21 at halftime.
