WARRENSBURG — Mary McCord and Cooper Hamlin were recognized during the annual MLK Networking Luncheon and Community Service Awards on Wednesday, Jan. 12, at the American Legion Matthews-Crawford Post 131.  The theme of this year’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebrations is “Living the Dream: Live and in Color.” The luncheon, co-hosted by the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce, is the first in a week of events organized by the University of Central Missouri.  Lover Chancler, University of Central Missouri Assistant Professor and Director of the Center for Multiculturalism and Inclusivity, presented Hamlin and McCord each with a Community Service Award. ...
