WARRENSBURG — The Johnson County Fire Protection District responded to a structure fire Monday, Dec. 20, in the 500 block of Northeast Highway 13.  Crews responded to the report of a grass fire that had spread to two exterior buildings with a third structure at risk. Firefighters were on scene at 3:21 p.m.  JCFPD Chief Larry Jennings said the fire began with a trash fire in a barrel that spread across the grass to an exterior shed and garage.
