WARRENSBURG — Hanna Sawyer and Juliana Taylor King were sworn in as officers with the Warrensburg Police Department in a ceremony Friday, Dec. 10. Hanna Sawyer is the daughter of Denise Sawyer who also serves as an officer with the WPD. Chief Rich Lockhart said this is the first time a mother and daughter have served with the WPD at the same time. King is a retired member of the U.S. Air Force.
