The Martin Warren Chapter, Missouri Society, Sons of the American Revolution (MOSSAR) conducted a Patriot Grave Marking on Nov. 20 for James DeMasters, a Patriot of the American Revolution. DeMasters, a native of Virginia, enlisted in the American Army at the age of 16 in 1779. He participated in several major battles including the Battle of Charleston, South Carolina, during which he was captured. DeMasters soon escaped and joined the forces of Gen.
