SEDALIA — Missouri’s last surviving Tuskegee Airman and a survivor of the 1967 USS Liberty attack will be at W-K Chevrolet this Saturday along with military author Jeremy Amick for a book signing. Amick will sign his books “Together as One,” about Tuskegee Airman James Shipley, 98, of Tipton, who served during World War II; “Liberty’s Wounds,” which gives the account of Marine veteran Bryce Lockwood, of Stratford, who survived an attack on the ship in 1967; and “Show-Me Veterans” that highlights veterans throughout Missouri.
