Jennies softball split its opening doubleheader of MIAA action, falling to Missouri Southern 4-2 before beating the Lions 6-3 on Sunday, March 13 in Joplin.  The series Central Missouri at 6-13, 1-1 MIAA on the season.  Game 1  A two-run fifth inning broke a tie that had existed since the second inning, putting the final touches on Missouri Southern’s 4-2 win.  Southern broke a series of two and a half innings that featured no more than four at-bats in the fifth.  It all started with the walk of senior Tori Frazier.
