WARRENSBURG — Mayor Scott Holmberg read a proclamation declaring April to be Sexual Assault Awareness Month at the Monday, April 11, City Council meeting.  The proclamation states there are an average 463,634, victims, ages 12 and older, of rape and sexual assault every year and every 68 seconds another American is sexually assaulted.  This year’s theme is Building Safe Online Spaces Together.  The proclmation states, “we can build online communities free from sexual harassment, abuse and assault by practicing digital consent, intervening when we see harmful behaviors and promoting online communities that value inclusion, safety and respect.” Police laptops The...
