Knob Noster baseball topped Lafayette County 5-1 on Tuesday, April 5, at the Knob Noster Sports Complex.  Sophomore Trey Payne earned the win on the mound, pitching through six innings while striking out 10 and walking one.  The Panthers (6-4, 3-1 MRVC East) scored three of their runs courtesy of a RBI double from junior Luke Bolton in the bottom of the third.  Knob Noster returns to action Thursday, April 7, as it hosts Lexington.
