District softball will begin with an intra-Johnson County matchup for Crest Ridge and Kingsville.  The Cougars and Tigers will meet in the first round of the Class 1 District 8 Tournament on Friday, May 6, at Wellington-Napoleon High School. Crest Ridge (11-5) is the district’s No. 3 seed while Kingsville (5-8) is No. 6.  Defending district champion Wellington-Napoleon (14-2) is the No. 1 seed while Concordia (12-2) is No. 2.
