That’s the last time I’ll complain about damp, cool weather in May.  I read last week that the Jan. 6 committee has issued subpoenas to five members of Congress who appear to have taken part in the insurrection last year. The five had previously been asked to interview with the committee to tell their part of the story, but had indignantly declined, calling the committee’s activities a “witch hunt” and the committee itself “illegitimate.”  I am puzzled by their actions, as well as their continued denigration of the committee.
