JOHNSON COUNTY — Absentee voting for the August 2022 Primary election begins June 21. Absentee voting is available six weeks prior to the election and will be due no later than 5 p.m. on the second Wednesday prior to the election.  “Every election is important,” County Clerk Diane Thompson said.  “We have had the outcome of a race or question determined by just a handful of votes in the past.
