Warrensburg junior Gauge Claunch highlighted local All-State selections by the Missouri High School Baseball Coaches Association.  The All-Johnson County Baseball Player of the Year was the lone area athlete to receive a first team selection, tabbed for the honor as a utility player. Claunch split time as a pitcher and first baseman for the Tigers in 2022.  On the mound, Claunch held a 1.00 ERA, while surrendering 25 hits, 14 runs (six earned).
