“Don’t believe the hype about web3” is a growing theme among critical thinkers. To an extent, this attitude is justified. There’s a lot of nonsense in the space due to greed, FOMO and a lack of imagination, education and discernment. What’s missing in web3? A lot… but today I’ll focus on purpose, innovation and the gap between expectations and reality.
