Happy New Year. I hope you all enjoyed the holidays. I'm excited to have as my guest for January, Wanda Snow Porter and Robert Calkins. I've had the pleasure of meeting both of these great authors in person.

Wanda grew up in a small town on the California Coast riding horseback on land that once was a part of a old Mexcian land grant.  She is an avid horsewoman who has owned and trained horses all of her life, and it shows in the stories that she writes. 

Bob Calkins has been a search and rescue dog handler in western Washington state for more than a dozen years.  He currently searches with K9 Ruger, a four year old Golden Retiever.
