Farmers Max Becher and Mike Roberts have found the perfect recipe to build a company combining organic produce and high tech. The Ventura County natives met working at farmers markets, but the business they own now, Farmivore, puts a modern spin on the concept. Customers use their phone or computer to select locally grown produce from about 20 nearby farms and have the freshest possible food delivered right to their door.
