Introduction

Hey all,

Nierdbajetikanba, is Warlpiri. And it means what are you doing literally it is the way my father would always greet me Eija.Nierdbajetikanba. My father only spoke to me in Warlpiri from the day I was born to his final breath. So that is how I will start each episode and the other thing he would say was youlkamkanangu which means I like you or in close terms I love you. That is how I will end each episode youlkamikanangu. So those will be our book ends., And In between there will be a short story from my life or from history and a lesson or takeaway.

I hope that these will be both entertaining and informative for you all. Some things of course you will have already heard or learned for yourself. In those instances I apologize in advance you can always feel free to skip anything you don’t like or agree with. Did I mention there would be swearing? Well there will be, see another thing my dad taught me is that swear words are just words. Racially insensitive language hurts people so that should never under any circumstances be used but swear words are just words they’re not directed at degrading an individual or a group of individuals so I always felt free to use them for effect.
