When per chance we meet a friend

From our youthful college days

A flood of memories rush back to us

Of our innocent yet naughty ways.

We re-live the period within ourselves

Radiate the happiness of the times

A thousand current of an electrifying touch

The blushing looks, the mysterious smiles.

The canteen, the library, the books and classrooms

This was the world we lived in then

Simple college socials were the greatest events

Even our little experiences we would sit down to pen.

How sweet and innocent life was my friend

A matter of fact now, what was excitement then

This period in life is ever so short

It flies away never to be caught.

Amazing how life has its twists and turns

In one such turn we may find the same friends again

But different so different they seem now

They have bloomed we have blossomed.

They are still so good, beautiful and successful

But yet so different in a different world

We care for each other yet we have grown apart.
