The power of persistent prayer must not be underestimated.

When Jesus taught His disciples to pray in Luke 11:1-13, He told them to ask, and to keep on asking; to seek, and to keep on seeking; to knock, and to keep on knocking, until an answer is received.

To those of us praying for something specific, may we learn prevailing prayer. For history is filled with the stories of prayerful men and women who came before the Lord to ask. They knocked and knocked, until they received an answer. It can take days, weeks, months... or even years. But through prevailing prayer, and by following the vital elements shared by Jesus to His disciples, miraculous things can happen here on earth. Preacher: Ed Pilapil Jr.
