In today’s episode I will talk about how to travel abroad while pumping. As most of my family lives in Germany and my job required me to take international trips, it was always a given that we would be traveling abroad during my time as a pumping mom.
I am describing my trip where I traveled alone, on a red eye from Atlanta to Frankfurt, with a layover in Amsterdam with my 10-month old daughter.
I am going to use this example to describe how best to travel abroad while pumping as it will set you up for the marathon when you hopefully only have to run the half, meaning, hopefully you either aren’t traveling with the baby or at least have someone traveling with you. Or, most likely, it is just you and your pump.
