In this upside-down society we live in, it’s hard to knowhow to make a difference. In today’s podcast, I’m talking about this trend for young people to beat someone up and then take a video of it in hopes of getting likes. This is a topic that really gets under my skin. I’ve never been a fan ofgratuitous posting on social media and I hate the whole concept of rewarding stupid or evil behavior with likes or follows. There is nothing more frustrating than scrolling through your feed and seeing the same ridiculous video posted twenty times by people who are trying to maintain relevance by using a video to spark anger or outrage. Stop giving attention to all of the negative things that thrive on attention. We need to stop giving so much value to things that add no value to our world.
