Our guest today is Nina Patrick.

Nina is the co-founder and CEO of MiProbes Biotechnologies. MiProbes is a German startup that's building hardware-free, next-generation diagnostics, to empower users to make data-driven decisions about themselves. MiProbes has won the Global Health & Pharma Breakthrough Innovation Excellence Award and was a finalist for the Royal Society of Chemistry Emerging Technologies competition. 

In this episode, Nina tells us about her amazing journey from academic research to entrepreneurship- from drug discovery and synthesis to creating bacteria-based biosensors for diagnostics. 

She also tells us how she witnessed the medical diagnostics evolve rapidly as a response to the pandemic and her vision for the future of health monitoring!
