The purpose of the church can be summed up in one word... Action. The book of Acts provides a history of the founding and growth of the early church. Acts is not just history, though. It also provides insight into personal experiences of conversion, redemption and growth in a Christ-following lifestyle. it is a call to action for the modern church.
