The Heart....Wanda's will speak on what's in my heart. Asking questions about life and all that it can present on any given day.
You ever have one of those moments when your brain just… stops?
You’re in the middle of a conversation—ready to say something profound, something wise—and suddenly… nothing.
Funny thing is that being at a loss for words isn’t the disasterwe think it is.
Divine interruptions can lead to unexpected blessings. These interruptions are often invitations from God, guiding us towards better paths and opportunities for growth.
Every day there is the constant presence of temptation and the importance of making the right choices in life. Integrity and character are tested in moments of opportunity where wrongdoing may seem easier.
Every decision we make has consequences that can affect not only ourselves but also those around us. Ultimately, we should choose the harder right over the easier wrong, as true peace and integrity come from making principled decisions.#temptation #integrity #character
Reminders can be both wanted and needed, serving as tools for organization, encouragement, and personal growth.
Reminders are not just about tasks but also about affirming our worth and purpose. One embrace reminders as a part of their journey and to recognize their role in being reminders for others.
Life can feel like a long drive through unpredictable traffic. Just when you think you're cruising, you hit a traffic jam. In these moments, it doesn't matter how much you blow your horn, how heavy you breathe, sigh, fuss, or complain, traffic doesn't move any faster.
Traffic is a reminder that life's detours are inevitable, and how we handle them defines our journey.
I drove through flood waters and was reminded that this experience can be indicative of life's unexpected challenges.
Flood waters can rise without warning.
Everyday we should be prepared and mindful of life's unpredictable nature. Keep moving forward, even when faced with life's metaphorical floods.
We can compare how life, just as desserts, require various ingredients and a careful baking process. Our lives are shaped by diverse experiences, challenges, and joys.
One must trust the process, embrace waiting, and recognize the importance of sharing their stories with others, as these narratives can inspire and uplift those around them.
There a parallels between life and the game of volleyball. In both we can discover how teamwork, readiness, and perseverance play crucial roles both not only on the court and in our daily lives.
Personal insights are shared and listeners are encouraged to serve boldly, work with their team, and stay ready for life's unexpected opportunities.
As in volleyball, life requires quick thinking and teamwork. Every opportunity begins with a serve; don't wait for life to serve you. Teamwork is essential; no one wins alone. We must stay ready for unexpected opportunities and challenges. Be willing to learn from mistakes and keep playing until the final whistle.
Discover how staying alert, embracing movement, and understanding timing can help us navigate life's unexpected challenges. Personal insights and biblical wisdom is shared to inspire resilience and growth.
Life is like dodgeball: unexpected hits and the importance of staying alert. Embrace movement and adaptability to avoid stagnation. Timing is crucial; sometimes it's better to catch the ball than to dodge it. Building a supportive team is essential for overcoming life's challenges.
Remember - Life can feel a lot like a game of dodgeball. We can't avoid pain, but we can learn and grow from it. Your team matters; life is not meant to be lived alone.
Life, in so many ways, is a game of tug of war. It’s a metaphor for our struggles, our faith, our dreams, our decisions, and our ability to endure. Like the game, sometimes it feels like we’re winning, and other times, we’re losing.
Just because life feels like a tug of war doesn’t mean you’re losing. Sometimes, being in the game is the greatest proofthat you're winning.
Everyone has a responsibility to protect the least of these; children, seniors, the disabled, all who are vulnerable. Sadly, many do not.
When did and why is it okay for the least of these to be taken advantage of?
Each day, in every area of our lives, we're presented with situations and/or individuals that are presented as an opportunity, an option or the only.
The importance is in recognizing where everything lies.
Despite life's challenges individuals are being built with perseverance, faith, and trust. Whether you're told this or not you are are seen and valued, keep pressing forward and to appreciate the joy that comes from overcoming adversity.
Many have their reasons for not speaking out when violence happens. To combat violence is a community wide effort. Each of us has to decide whether keeping silent outweighs speaking out.
A vast majority of people go through life walking as a VIP. Some have the physical challenge of being visually impaired and rely upon various individuals and/or aids to assist and lead them.
Christians have the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us daily as we're to walk by faith and not by sight.
Many make decisions that impact their life. Whether it's employment, relationships, etc. and throughout encounter resistance and opposition. There are many reasons for that, but one definitely could be God trying to realign because a decision was made and acted upon that wasn't in God's time.
Have you ever been caught off guard by life—maybe by a mistake, an unexpected challenge, or even a small conversation—and later realized: “That was trying to teach me something”?
Being outdoors can provide clarity and answers to prayers. It brings into perspective the space the people occupy.
When you encounter open doors of opportunity, do you walk through? Or look inside and honestly admit to yourself that this one is not it. Knowing that one day the door will open again and then it'll be time to walk through.
Life—doesn’t always play fair. It is so easy to feel the pull ofsomething heavy— something dark, and loud, and bitter. You don’t have to become hardened just because life was.
When you decide to let go of bitterness—not to excuse whathappened, but to set yourself free—you begin to rise.
That is true strength.
Don’t count out anything or anyone too quickly. And never count yourself out.
Because in the right hands — and that just might be yours —
what used to be… can become something more powerful than ever before.
Life happens to everyone. But it's our attitude towards life that matters. Instead of always being in reactive mode, chasing the next mode, overwhelmed mode, etc., it's good to just be content.
You have added value to someone's life. You might not know the full extent of it. You thought your kindness was just beingpolite. You made a difference in a way only you could.
No matter what we may face, remember that we arenever alone. Psalm 46:1 reminds us that "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble". He is our safe place, our source of strength, and He is always near.
When the storms of life rage, when fear and uncertaintycreep in, hold onto this truth—God is with us, guiding, protecting, and strengthening us. Trust in Him, for He is our refuge now and always.
No matter how much technology evolves or society shifts, the impact on the heart by kindness, love and encouragement remains the same. We all long to feel seen. We all need hope. We all benefit from love. And because of that, kindness will never go out of style.
Encouragement will never lose its power. No matter how modern life becomes, a smile will still warm a heart. Alistening ear will still bring comfort. A word of appreciation will still uplift.
The language of kindness is universal. It’s timeless. It’s something that every single one of us has the ability to give, and it’s something that will never stop making an impact.
Many are on the receiving end of someone blindsiding them. When reflecting over the situation, a lot of times signs were there that it could happen.
Nevertheless it never feels good and causes one to question the individuals character and integrity.
Have you ever prayed for God to use you to bless someone else, and you had the chance to do just that? Maybe it was to give someone a word of encouragement, offer financial help, or simply be present for someone in need.
I want to encourage you with this: When you ask God to help you bless someone else, He does just that.
How often do you have those moments which cause you to evaluate yourself? Do you like what you realize? If not, and there are areas within you that are in need of changing, where do you reach out for guidance?
Time is the one thing we all have in common, yet it’s the one thing we can never get back. Every second that passes is a second gone forever. That’s why how you spend your time matters.
Love is the second greatest gift you can give or receive. Love is a force that transcends time and space. It binds us together, gives our lives meaning, and reminds us of our shared humanity.
The way we treat others matters—not just for them, but for yourself as well. Our words, actions, and attitudes shape the world around us in ways we often underestimate.
You never know who is paying attention to you. You are bold, risk takers and fearless; movers and shakers and the up and coming.
You are the leaders of tomorrow and yet you are already shaping today. You that are resilient, innovative, and unapologetically authentic. You have access to tools and opportunities that generations before you could only dream of.
But in the midst of all this possibility, if you believe that God can do it, live your life as if He’s already answered your prayers.
Preparation is not passive; it’s deeply active. It’s about doing the work even when the results aren’t immediate. It’s about practicing, learning, and growing every single day. Preparation takes time, and sometimes that can be frustrating. You might feel ready for your dreams today, but the truth is that every step of preparation is necessary.
When we focus on what’s good—even in difficult circumstances—we open ourselves up to solutions, opportunities, and unexpected joys. Positivity is not about pretending everything is perfect; it's about trusting that there’s meaning and growth to be found in every experience.
Many are attached to a small device called a cell phone. Yet losing or damaging a phone should be a moment of inconvenience, not a crisis. What if, instead of mourning what’s gone, we use it as a wake-up call? A chance toreconnect with what really matters: the people around us, the experiences we live, and the moments we can savor without a screen between us and the world.
Silence allows us to reset, to recalibrate our minds and hearts. In silence, we find clarity. We can listen not just to the world but to ourselves. It’s in the still moments that we often hear the truths that get drowned out by the noise of life.
Many people mistake silence for weakness. They think speaking louder, acting faster, or filling every gap with words is a sign of power. But the truth is, silence can be one of the greatest strengths.
Life is full of surprises, full of moments when the only thing left to do is throw our hands in the air and laugh. Because laughter lightens us, it breaks us free from the rigid shell of needing to appear put-together.
When you encounter opposition, don’t run from it or complain about it. Push forward because opposition is not your enemy; it’s your elevation.
Why accept "I think I can"? Believing you can meansdeclaring your strength and purpose. Challenges will come, but confidence isn't born from avoiding struggles; it's forged in facing them.
When you boldly proclaim, "I know I can" , you are capable, worthy, and unstoppable.
Your perspective on what you have will determine how you move forward with it. You'll either use it for progress or view it negatively and leave it alone.
Having a thankful heart is not designated to one day out of the year, but is every day.
Not everyone agrees on everything all the time. Yet, circumstances may dictate that agreeing to disagree is the best decision at that time.
Many are fueling the flames of division and hatred. Instead of embracing love, respect and living in peace toward one another.
In order to overcome the negativity and division one has to make a conscience decision to treat everyone fairly regardless of the race, gender, cultural background, etc.
That's how love and respect overcome hatred and division.
Many are fueling the flames of division and hatred. Instead of embracing love, respect and living in peace towards one another.

That's how love and respect overcome hatred and division.
Learning to be thankful for the small things, begins cultivating a mindset of gratitude that permeates everyaspect of our lives.
This mindset doesn’t just make one happier; it also makesone more resilient.
We receive light from a variety of sources. Whether natural (sun, moon, stars) or man made, ex electricity, technology, etc.
The most impactful light of all is the light that shines from within. Each of us are a unique light that can brighten the darkest environment. We are to walk letting our light shine.
True happiness is not found in material things and no one else can give it to you. It's something that comes from within, from a deep sense of peace, self-awareness, and gratitude.
Leaders embrace who they are and lead with authenticity. Followers often mold themselves to fit the expectations of others.
Fear is only as powerful as the control we allow it to have over us. Fear in itself is neither good nor bad. It’s our response to it that determines whether fear will paralyze us or propel us.
Though a smile can brighten someone's day, it can also cover how someone is feeling inside.
May today be the day you choose to be a better person, not for anyone else, but for yourself because the world needs to see and receive your light, your goodness, and your unique gifts.
Do not underestimate the power of these two simple words, thank you, to make someone's day a littlebrighter. Two simple words can make all the difference.
Be mindful of where you direct your energy. Somethings are simply not worth the chase, but the things that are, things that truly matter, will be worth it.
The storms of life are unavoidable. We can choose wherewe place our trust and where we seek our refuge. When we find true refuge, we find the peace and strength to face whatever comes our way, knowing that we aresafe and secure.
A lot of individuals are promoting hope and joy. But you can't have either without love.
Life happens to all of us. It doesn't matter how prepared you may be. A situation will arise that wasn't anticipated. How you handle the situation is what matters.
Setting your goals based on what is important toyou, rather than what is important to someone else.
Each of us has the power to make a positive impact on the lives of others. When we choose to radiate brightly, we can create a world that is warmer, brighter, and more connected.
Family secrets are not just about the information itself but about the reasons they are kept. These secrets oftenstem from a desire to protect, to avoid shame or guilt, or to maintain a certain image.
Let your smile impact the world; don't let the world impact your smile.

Many disguise pride as humility. Pride is an issue for most people. The opposite of pride is humility. If you want to walk in humility, you have to ask God to help you. Without God helping you to walk in humility, your efforts are disguised as pride.

Life is a road with many twists, turns, and unexpected detours. As we navigate this road, we carry our dreams, goals, and aspirations. We envision the destinations we wish to reach, and we set out with determinationand enthusiasm.
But as with any journey, there are moments when the road seems long and the destination far away. It's in these moments of doubt and fatigue that we must remind ourselves of a powerful truth: on the road ofaccomplishments, don't get discouraged by how much farther you have to go. Be encouraged by how far you have come.

People can no longer sit by listening to and watching our youth be senselessly lead down the wrong path. Many hearts are heavy and crying out because of so many young lives lost. We have to be the one intentionally stepping in and standing up to protect and guide our youth.

People influence others for a variety of reasons. At times, it's simply being at the right place and at the right time. Influencers are not limited by age, gender, economic status or religious affiliation.
We all persevere every day. Many have hit brick walls or gotten knocked down by life, and yet, continued on. There are times, where Day in, day out nothing seems to change. Yet people are still moving on. What’s behind the moving on? They're striving for something and had the faith to continue on to what they’re trying to do or accomplish.
In life, people are released either from something or to something. Many know when the release occurs and acts upon it. Others may not know the exact moment the release occurs, but when it's made aware, still are reluctant to act upon. For those that don't act upon the release, life can present circumstances which ultimately lead to the release being acknowledged, embraced and acted upon.
Life presents obstacles that will cause one to move either forward or remain stagnant. Moving forward at times means shifting the thought process from "I think I can" to "I know I can".
People who cross your path will do one of 2 things: either teach you something or bless you. You in turn can and/or will do the same to others; teach them something or bless them.
