"Finding your Enneagram type doesn't mean it is who you are forever. What's great about self-assessment is when you're aware of who you are, you now have better ways to access your true gifts."
Beth Kuper
The ancient Greek aphorism “know thyself” isn’t just some bumper sticker expression. It can bring you much abundance and success in your life.
One way to know yourself better is through personality assessments. While there’s a plethora of tests out there made by world-renowned psychologists, in today’s episode, we’re going to focus on the, Enneagram with my guest, Beth Kuper.
Beth is an Enneagram expert with decades of experience. She’s active with the International Enneagram Association. And she provides individual and group sessions to help clients discover their Enneagram type and deepen their personal growth.
While my conversation with Beth deep dives into the topic of knowing thyself, the Enneagram test is also an excellent way for coaches, consultants, and service providers to get to know their clients better. It’s also a great way to better understand your team members, spouse, kids, pretty much anybody you care about or work with. With a deeper understanding of them, you build more rapport, relatability, workability, and better outcomes. In this episode, Beth and I talk about the 9 Enneagram types - what they are, how each of them works, and how you can harness your type to your best advantage.
And now, without further ado, on with the show!
