According to Bloomberg News, coins are the latest hot spot in the crypto market, and the prices are not moving. Stablecoins and cryptocurrencies that peg their value to the US dollar, have magnified in size over the last couple of months as coins and Bitcoin whipsaw. The stablecoin’s total market capitalization now stands at approximately $180 billion, up from $38 billion one year ago, as revealed by Coin Metrics data the Block compiled. Compared to the same, the crypto ecosystem has remained mainly dormant in the last year.
