"If you are giving advice and you're not turning people to God, it's bad advice."

Many people spend their lives spinning their wheels, feeling like they are working constantly but going absolutely nowhere. On Father's Day, we take a look at a moment of wise advice that actually happened before the Ten Commandments were given. In Exodus 18, a father in law named Jethro noticed that Moses was wearing himself out trying to handle everyone's problems alone, and he gave him straight advice on how to share the weight of leadership. When we open our hearts to godly advice, it changes how we live. In this message, we look directly at the Ten Commandments to find three foundational pieces of advice for our daily lives: watching how we treat other people, honoring where we came from, and keeping our primary focus entirely on God.
