When it comes to finding new ways of doing something simple, looking to nature is a good place to start. Currently surgeons, space scientists and even dentists are fascinated with the humble barnacle, hoping the creatures ability to stick to things can be harnessed for wider use. Diana Jones is the executive director for the collection, content and development of the Western Australian museum. Diana Jones will be giving a talk on barnacles and their potential as natural superglue this Friday 10th September at 6pm at the WA Maritime museum.
