In this podcast, I discuss my interview with a report at the AJC.  I discussed three concerns which I believe leadership at Cherokee County School District (CCSD) must address.  I was raised being told that if you show me who you choose to hang out with, I will show you the person you will become.  So could leadership please tell me 1) why was Cecilia Lewis offered a job - knowing her background and position CRT?  2) Why did you engage with Panorama Education - a company which openly supports SEL and CRT - consider the questions of the survey to be proprietary and unless requested - fail to share results of the children with the parents?  3)  Why was a teacher - who was a first responder - not allowed to hang an American flag honoring first responders - and even if it was a flag policy violation - why have you not addressed this issue with the students directly affected by his resignation?  

These issues together lead to some concerns.  There must be more openness, better communication, and accountability for all constituents being served.
