Set your sail in position to take the wind.
I heard this, early morning, 4/14/2020. It is like we’ve been in a state where the sail has suddenly stopped and is in idle mode. In this time don’t be idle but remain diligent. Gather in this time of pause… so, that when the sudden sail begins (and it will come suddenly) you will have something to take with you into the new place. Work productively... even though productivity may seem impossible right now: When a strong wind comes and blows suddenly it will begin your voyage again and you can think of it as a lift in the sail.
The wind is blowing into a place of the unknown, but a place of necessary and new beginnings—(for most).
As we arrive at our new place with our ships anchored…we can rest assured that our solidarity is in the FATHER. Although we do not know the specifics of every detail in our lives we can know that Christ is our pro-visionary….we just have to keep our focus on him.
``` Isaiah 26:3-4 English Standard Version (ESV)
3 You keep him in perfect peace
whose mind is stayed on you,
because he trusts in you.
4 Trust in the Lord forever,
for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.
```
