While doing research for one of my talks on radio, I stumbled on this statistic that immediately captured my attention: “refugees were 70% more likely to suffer from depression than those born in Canada.”

I knew I needed to talk to the research to learn more.  This was a great conversation with Professor Esme Fuller Thomson from the University of Toronto. 
We talked about her research and much more.
