There are some times in life where it serves to go back to the foundations or the beginning, to be reminded anew of the path you took to get there, and to be reminded of your ‘why’.

Our faith in God is no different, and sometimes it’s a good idea to go back to our foundations, our beginning, our basics, to be reminded and inspired anew of our faith journey.

Today we start a series called ‘Back to the Basics’ where we’ll look at seven vital elements of Christianity and how they apply to us. This week we’re looking at the Bible – the Word of God – and how it helps guide and direct us through life but also reveals the character of God and master plan for humanity.

Through these devotions, we pray you’ll see that the Bible is so much more than a book. That it’s a love letter from our heavenly Father, showing us His heart and desire for His people.
