Today we talk about Eve.
Eve had experienced a colossal shift away from relationship with God. Sin created a huge gap and relationship was broken. It was some simple shifts in combination with the incredible grace & mercy of God that led them back and restored relationship.

Righteousness is not about religious superiority or behavior modification. It's not about figuring out how to live better or outwardly doing the right thing. Righteousness is about living rightly and living the way that we were created to live.
Jesus said: Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Matthew 5:6
How badly do we want to live rightly? How willing are we to continue to become more like Jesus, do things like Jesus would do? In this message Pastor Ryan unpacks pursuing righteousness and the effects it will have in our community.

Week One of Seek God for the City: Seeking Christ's Life to Revive the Church. Before revival can occur there has to be some sort of death. We typically call it repentance, because as we turn away from sin we are putting it to death. The Parable of the Net
They say it takes 7 positives to erase 1 negative. We cannot hear enough about the Kingdom because we experience so much of this world. So much pain, hurt, self-centeredness, greed… all of what the Kingdom is not. There is another reason for wanting you to be all about the Kingdom right now… because the alternative is terrible. Pastor Ryan ends this series by walking us through Matthew 13:47-50. Ultimately landing on the the question of “Am I Kingdom Obsessed? And if not am I ok with the consequences?”

In today's episode, Pastor Ryan brings the second sermon of the Kingdom Obsession series. Continuing in a study through Matthew 13 He unpacks four traits that mark Kingdom Obsessed Christ-Followers. It would be easy to pursue Kingdom Living if everyone was doing it, but that's not how it was for Jesus's disciples and it's not how things are today. Looking at the marks of commitment, conviction, character, and consistency, we learn how important it is to be fixed and focused on Jesus's teachings and example.
