Our guest today, Kevin, came in to Guiding Light over 3 years ago not with the intention of getting sober but of having a roof over his head for the winter. Despite our prodding he "doesn't know what happened" but somehow he is a great example of what success and moving forward in recovery looks like. We discuss the systemic issues of chronic homelessness, and how Kevin was able to break out of that cycle. We also talk about what we would do if we could regress to age 12 again, and Daniel recalls a surreal encounter with a raccoon when he was homeless.
