Kevin Slimmer is the author of The Shelter and numerous short stories, He received his bachelor of arts degree in Psychology in 1994 and has worked in the Human Services field for over 25 years. A Central New York native, he currently lives in Oswego, NY with his wife, Kristen, and his three children; Brady, 22; Presley, 20, and Parker, 5. Along with his new venture in writing, he enjoys playing the guitar, playing golf, reading, and watching a good movie.
