Daniel is a Certified EMDR Therapist, an EMDRIA Approved Consultant and an EMDR and Advanced Topics Trainer on Faculty at the Institute for Creative Mindfulness Daniel’s career as a therapist, consultant, and trainer is rooted in the experimental theatre community of New York City and Paris in the 1980s. Daniel has worked in a variety of settings including as a clinical director in addiction treatment facilities, with veterans organizations, and extensively in private practice. He currently provides no-cost psychotherapy to all era veterans through the Headstrong organization. (https://getheadstrong.org/) Daniel has presented seminars at the Expressive Therapy Summit in New York and Los Angeles, at the national conference of the North American Drama Therapy Association (NADTA), at the San Diego Psychological Association conference, at CalTech’s Student Wellness Program, and at the Applied Improvisation Network World Conference. He recently developed and presented a training on the interface of EMDR Therapy and Drama Therapy, “The 8-Phase Protocol in Action: EM/Drama Therapy.” A new training he has developed on working with veterans will be offered in February 2022.
