The Perry City Police Department has issued a statement laying responsibility for last week’s vandalism of a Perry church on local kids. According to the statement, the department received several tips from the public regarding the incident, which helped to identify the culprits. “We have received numerous tips from the public and we’ve conducted several interviews,” wrote Perry Police Chief Scott Hancey. “We have served search warrants which have resulted in the seizure of evidence.
